Artists at the Grand Palais
Art Capital brings together several thousand artists each year at the Grand Palais to showcase the diversity of contemporary creation. Painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, engraving and new artistic practices meet under the glass roof to offer the public a vibrant and multifaceted panorama of today's art.
The event brings together three historic salons, each with its own unique identity and history: the Salon des Artistes Français, heir to a long artistic tradition; the Salon des Artistes Indépendants, founded around the principle of freedom of creation; and the Salon Comparaisons, organized around contemporary artistic groups and sensibilities.
Brought together under the umbrella of Art Capital, these three fairs foster dialogue between generations, disciplines, and perspectives. Artists, collectors, professionals, and art enthusiasts gather there each year to discover works, meet their creators, and share a common experience of creation in the heart of the Grand Palais.
